Yoko Lawing

I am originally from Osaka, and have resided in North Platte, Nebraska for the last six years. I am a mother of two incredible teenagers, Lenoire(17) & Kirin(15). I moved to Fort Collins Colorado to pursue a dream to be an anthropologist in 1997. I worked in a banking industry for eight and a half years prior to serve 6 years as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones. I opened an independent financial firm, Zen Wealth Strategies, in June of 2020 and Marissa Moats has recently joined the team as an administrative Associate this year. My vision for North Platte when I moved here almost 6 years ago was to bring more culture to the community. I was able to share this vision through annual International Bazaar held in 2018 and 2019 by North Platte CONNECT and I look forward to creating more cultural events in near future.
